Library card contest:

Design the new library card
Youths can put their imagination and drawing skills to the test and design the next new library card. Artwork should be created around the Maricopa County Summer Reading Program’s theme, Libraries Rock, and designs will be entered to win a $100 gift card and a chance to be selected as the newest library card. Entry forms and contest guidelines are available at local Peoria Public Library’s service desks. Contests are for children ages 5 to 11 and teens ages 12 to 17. Entries are due by Aug. 1, with the winners being selected in September.
